AGWN is a professional employee-led network working to create a step change that will enable all women in the public sector In Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland to achieve their potential.
Women are the majority of the 350,000-strong New Zealand public sector workforce. By partnering with others in the public sector, we can offer insights, skills and best practice advice and leadership. Tāmaki Makaurau's public sector in unique because of our large Māori, Pacific and ethnic minority populations.
We back women and women's groups within Tāmaki Makaurau's government agencies . We create connections for women through professional networking events in our city, including the Auckland Women in Public Sector Summit.
We are committed to being the leading voice for women in the public sector and creating partnerships with those who share our vision of women achieving their potential.
