Assam Urban Infrastructure Development & Finance Corporation Ltd. (AUIDFCL) is a Govt. of Assam owned Company, established under the Companies Act, 2013. This Company is set to revolutionize urban infrastructure planning, financing, execution across the state and act as the Nodal Agency by ensuring sustainable urban development while mobilizing multiple sources of funding.

AUIDFCL Aims to Achieve:
AUIDFCL is designed to be a multi-faceted institution, playing a crucial role in three key areas:
1. Urban Infrastructure Development
• Serves as the State-Level Nodal Agency for all national urban missions like
• Facilitates project development and implementation for Large urban Infrastructure Projects
• Oversees municipal e-governance projects to improve transparency and efficiency.

2. Mobilizing Urban Finance
• Attracts funding from multilateral agencies, private investors, and capital markets.
• Supports Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) to enhance infrastructure quality and sustainability.
• Ensures financial discipline among Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) to enhance creditworthiness and self-sufficiency.
3. Capacity Building & Reform Implementation
• Strengthens urban governance institutions through targeted reforms.
• Develops technical expertise and financial planning capabilities for ULBs.
• Encourages digitization of municipal services for smart and efficient urban management.
