Australian Embassy in the Netherlands

The Australian Embassy in The Hague serves as Australia’s sole diplomatic mission in the Netherlands and as Australia’s representative to key multilateral organisations based in The Hague. We are committed to advancing Australia’s multilateral interests in support of international law, peace and security, as well as strengthening the relationship between Australia and the Netherlands through a broad range of responsibilities. Our work includes:

• Assisting Australian citizens in the Netherlands with consular support and other essential government services.
• Promoting Australian interests and fostering strong diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties with the Dutch Government.
• Representing Australia at key international courts, tribunals, and organisations headquartered in The Hague.
