About Australian Consulate-General in Los Angeles
The official account of the Australian Consulate-General in Los Angeles, United States of America.
The Consulate-General provides consular and passport services to Australians in Alaska and in the following Southwestern US: Arizona, Southern California, Colorado, New Mexico, southern Nevada (Las Vegas and Clark County) and Utah.
These states collectively account for over US$7 billion in two-way trade and host over 100,000 Australian residents. In 2023, the governments of Australia and California signed a new Memorandum of Understanding to accelerate our shared efforts to deliver climate action and support clean energy transition.
The Consulate raises awareness of Australia’s capabilities across a range of sectors, including the creative industries, innovation and technology, infrastructure, education, and tourism. In addition, the Consulate-General in Los Angeles plays a key role in the annual G’Day USA program, which brings together business, academia and policy makers to showcase Australia as an innovative and high-quality partner for the US, build people to people links, and enhance dialogue on shared priorities such as cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, defence industries and innovation.
