The Australian Trade and Investment Commission – or Austrade – is Australia’s trade and investment promotion agency.
In South Asia, Austrade works with South Asian and Australian businesses across a range of government priority sectors of strategic importance to each of these regions.
We help companies from South Asia to establish and invest in Australia and are responsible for the promotion, attraction, and facilitation of productive foreign direct investment (FDI) into Australia across the government’s key priority sectors.
We support Australian exporters explore opportunities in region helping companies assess the size of the market, customer demand, technical requirements, and opportunities for partnering or expanding existing operations throughout South Asia. Austrade also works with industry groups from South Asia to understand where Australian products and services can add value to the region.
