About Australian Chinese Designers Association 澳洲华人设计师协会
Since its founding in 2019, the Australian Chinese Designers Association (ACDA) has continuously promoted the exchange and development of design cultures between China and Australia. The association has successfully hosted over 50 events centred around design, serving as a bridge between designers and businesses, and attracting the active participation of more than 2,000 designers from both China and Australia.
At the same time, ACDA places great importance on academic collaboration, having partnered with universities such as the University of Sydney, UNSW, China Academy of Art, and Beijing Institute of Technology. ACDA is a non-profit professional organisation dedicated to uniting Chinese designers in Australia and fostering exchange and growth within the design industry.
Our mission is to utilise design to foster collaboration and growth, and to enhance the global presence and voice of Chinese designers in Australia and beyond. Through regular events, workshops, exhibitions, networking sessions, and educational programs, ACDA is committed to:
Promoting cultural exchange and design innovation between China and
Australia
Supporting both emerging and established Chinese designers in Australia
Providing a professional platform to share knowledge, experience, and
resource
Advocating for diversity and inclusion within the design industry
