AEA is a $1.6 billion Australian Government program taking a new approach to commercialising academic research - supporting the journey from cutting-edge research to the products and services of the future.
As a priority-driven grant program, AEA support projects aligned with national priorities with high commercial opportunity.
Australian university researchers and their industry partners can now benefit from $180 million in grant funding to commercialise research.
Two streams of grants are available with up to $500,000 available for proof-of-concept Ignite grants and up to $5 million for proof-of-scale Innovate grants.
