About Aberdeen University Trading and Investment Club (AUTIC)
Founded in 2011, the 'Aberdeen University Trading and Investment Club' (AUTIC) has since become the largest society in the University of Aberdeen's business school.
AUTIC controls and manages a student-led investment fund. The society regularly hosts stock pitch competitions to analyse future investments but also to equip our members with essential skills like DCF creation and Bloomberg terminal proficiency.
We hold educational events every Monday that aim to inform our members about world of investment, finance and markets. Some events may focus on how to break into the finance industry with experienced alumni sharing their experience and top tips.
On the social side of things AUTIC hosts bi weekly socials for our members to network and converse. AUTIC also hosts recreational 5 a side football every Thursday.
Our committee is tasked with hosting the prestigious Business School ball, which last year was held at the Sandman Signature hotel and sold over 200 tickets.
AUTIC offers its members the opportunity to attend the Warwick Economic Summit, this fantastic experience provides members with the chance to hear speeches from former heads of state, central bank governor and Oxford economists.
