About Autism Arena CIC, a non-profit community interest company. Sponsored by The National Lottery .
We deliver bespoke autism & neurodiversity training to a wide range of businesses. We can help with understanding different neuro types, sensory and executive functioning differences, different ways of working, how to create an inclusive work environment, assist with pre-employment selection processes, reasonable adjustments, assisted internships and more. We can perform in-house support, offer online individual consultations, and provide support to newly diagnosed employees or their families.
Our team are highly skilled with decades of personal and professional experience with autism and neurodiversity.
We are listed in the Leeds Local Offer, York’s Directory of services for children and the NHS’ Autism Central directory. Our Founder, Dr Gillian Rogers was formally a GP in Leeds and assisted with the Leeds University medical school admission process. She is now part of the autism subgroup at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust and involved with patient experience in community healthcare. Nikki Wilson is a social work manager with over 20 years experience in a wide range of challenging situations. She is our Safeguarding Lead and has written our equity and inclusion policies. Edwina Subritzky has a Masters degree in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and is a specialist teacher and leader of adaptive and inclusive practice.
We are currently working towards becoming accredited by the National Autistic Society.
We are a professional, dynamic and passionate team keen to make a difference to the lives of autistic and neurodivergent people and help create more inclusive and supportive workplaces that recognise the importance of community and wellbeing. Our work with businesses supports our nonprofit community interest company helping families of autistic and neurodivergent children to access the right support by navigating health & social care, education and leisure. email: [email protected], www.autismarena.org.uk
