Many commercial buildings in New Zealand are required to have their fire alarm systems directly connected to Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ). Automatic Fire Alarm Monitoring (AFAM) manufactures equipment, and operates a dedicated monitoring network throughout New Zealand, that connects them. When installed, our equipment constantly monitors the fire alarm system and in the event of a fire, fault, or maintenance event, automatically notifies the fire service and the buildings fire alarm service agent.
