The Automotive Sector Council of Nova Scotia (ASC) is a dedicated, industry-driven non-profit organization committed to advancing Nova Scotia's automotive sector. We serve as the trusted hub for information, resources, and industry intelligence for automotive service and repair businesses, employees, apprentices, and students.
Our mission is to build a skilled, diverse, and resilient automotive workforce that can thrive in an evolving industry. We achieve this by fostering connections among employers, industry professionals, educators, and community organizations to promote workforce development, skills training, and career opportunities.
ASC offers innovative programs such as TestDrive, GearUp HR Solutions, and the Motive Power Career Portal, which connect youth, young adults, and underrepresented groups with meaningful career pathways while addressing industry workforce needs.
