About AUW Master of Arts in Education
The Asian University for Women’s inaugural graduate program, Master of Arts in Education, is a unique hybrid program launched with aspirations to empower women in education, particularly the brightest young female reformists/educational entrepreneurs dedicated to creating an impact through educational development and their leadership in society. The majority of the students in the cohorts are Afghan evacuees and belong to ethnic minority communities seeking to bring reformations. After the successful completion of the first academic year, we proudly welcomed our second cohort of five different nationalities. AUW is providing scholarship opportunities and amenities to 39 students in collaboration with institutions such as Boston College Lynch School of Education and Human Development and Johns Hopkins University School of Education. As part of the programme curriculumn, our students also learn French taught by the experts from Alliance Française and participate in internship projects/field visits as a practicum component.
