About TransAfrica Communications
TransAfrica Communications (TrAC) is a licensed ISP headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda. Founded in 2012 as Axiom Networks, with a vision to “Light Africa” and rebranded in 2021. TrAC has evolved into one of the region’s most dynamic connectivity providers, with a network that spans across Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Burundi.
Our solutions include enterprise grade internet services, private networks (VPN), cloud services and datacenter collocation services.
In 2025, TrAC entered a new growth phase by joining forces with Connecting Communities Africa (CCA), an impact venture backed by AKA Partners. Together, we are expanding rural coverage, boosting reliability, and bridging the digital divide to ensure everyone can participate in the digital economy. We are one of the most dynamic and fastest growing companies because we listen to our customers and design tailor-made solutions to suit their needs beyond their expectations.
Our mission is simple: To be a catalyst of positive change by enabling development through connectivity solutions.
