About Azahir
Azahir is a community-based Lebanese NGO working in the most marginalized areas of north Lebanon to empower vulnerable children and refugees in conflict-prone areas like Akkar and Nahr el Bared Refugee Camp.
Our mission is to create safe spaces for at-risk children and meaningful opportunities for youth, through education, psycho-social support and community development.
Our vision is a cohesive society where empowered youth lead communities towards resilience and peace.
Operating efficiently, we direct resources to ground-level activities, managed by local youth teams in our community centers, ensuring maximum impact with minimal administrative costs.
