About Azerbaijan Industrial Insurance OJSC / Azərbaycan Sənaye Sığorta ASC
"Azerbaijan Industrial Insurance" OJSC was established through the reorganization of "CI Insurance" LLC, which was originally founded on December 17, 1996, and registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The company is the legal successor of CI Insurance.
According to a decision made at the end of 2008, the company changed its organizational and legal form to an Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC).
The company, initially registered with a charter capital of USD 125,000, increased its capital to 4,000,000 Azerbaijani manats.
In accordance with Article 4.4 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Compulsory Insurance, enacted on June 28, 2012, by the State Insurance Supervision Service under the Ministry of Finance, "Azerbaijan Industrial Insurance" OJSC was granted permission to provide compulsory insurance services. As a result, the company became a member of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau.
On December 12, 2012, the company's charter capital was increased to 8,160,000 manats.
95% of the shares of "Azerbaijan Industrial Insurance" OJSC, which provides a total of 33 types of insurance services (including 29 voluntary and 4 compulsory), are owned by "Anadolu Investment Company" LLC, and 5% by "Azerbaijan Industry Bank" OJSC.
Currently, the company serves its customers extensively through nearly 30 branches and sales centers.
On December 26, 2014, the company's authorized capital was increased to 11,000,000 manats through retained earnings from previous years, and its official English name was changed to "Azerbaijan Industrial Insurance" OJSC.
