About B3OA
Since its creation in 1977, the overarching objective of the B3OA was to develop innovative strategies for the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with orthopaedic-related disorders (resulting from trauma or degenerative disease).
Specifically, the B3OA’s research focuses on:
- reinforcing current knowledge of pathophysiological and fundamental aspects of osteo-articular repair;
- elaborating innovative biotherapies for enhancing osteo-articular repair ;
- developing new procedures in clinical research for osteo-articular diseases.
Its expert knowledge and skills in tissue engineering, imaging, and cellular and molecular biology allow the laboratory to develop new and innovative translational approaches in orthopedic, odontology, and radiology medical fields.
