B.Tech Artificial Intelligence & Data Science

Founded in 1956 by the V. Rangaswamy Naidu Educational Trust (VRET), the Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) has been a pioneer in delivering excellence in science, engineering, and technology education. Originally affiliated with Madras University, CIT transitioned to Bharathiar University in 1980 and to Anna University in 2001. As a Government-aided institution recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), CIT has a long-standing tradition of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

In June 2021, CIT launched the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, marking a significant expansion into one of the most transformative fields of the 21st century. AI and Data Science are revolutionizing industries and everyday life, and our department is committed to leading advancements in these areas. Our focus is on research, development, and the application of cutting-edge technologies to address real-world challenges.
