Basadur Applied Innovation (BAI) was founded in 1981 when Dr. Min Basadur left Procter & Gamble and formed the Center for Research in Applied Creativity based on his award-winning doctoral research. His scientifically based formula: Innovative Results = Knowledge + Process + Skills + Tools + Style was proven to work in real organizations and showed how creativity can be taught successfully. An unexpected learning from the research was that different people have different thinking and problem solving styles thus, the Creative Problem Solving Profile was invented becoming the eureka discovery of Basadur’s teachings.
