About B Lab France
Created in 2006 and present in more than 100 countries, the B Corp movement brings together a community of more than 10 000 companies as well as experts and supporters from civil society.
This movement seeks to transform the economy by demonstrating that it is possible for a company to make a positive contribution to society and the environment (one of B Corp's slogans is "using business as a force for good").
It also tries to demonstrate, through the achievements of the B Corp community, that it is possible to reconcile the profit motive (for profit) and the collective interest (for purpose).
Almost 600 companies are currently certified B Corp in France. This community, which has been present in France since 2015, is very active and expanding.
