About BEEL architecten
In the early 80s Stéphane Beel founded his own architectural office. In 2020 3 new partners joined the board, Sophie Deheegher, Tom Ryckaert and Tom Cortoos. Together BEEL architecten will keep up the vision and values as installed by Stéphane some forty years ago. From the very beginning the studio was founded on a philosophy of innovation, sustainability and design, making a difference from the first ideas to the last details. The studio embraces the challenges of the future, and will continue to create sustainable architecture, engineering and urban design in harmony with the ever-changing context. Together with their driven team of civil-engineer-architects, architects and urban planners, the partners will further develop the portfolio of the practice from their new office in Ghent.
