Be Positive Association

Be Positive is a local non-profit association registered under the Ministry of Social Development, established in May 2016. We have 5 board members who are activists in the disability field and have a long experience empowering Persons with Disabilities. The board members take responsibility for activities like management, accounting, training, and all other related tasks. - Our Vision Towards a friendly community to achieve equal opportunities and a better life for Persons with Disabilities. - Our Mission Empower Persons with Disabilities to participate effectively in the community and work together breaking the barriers they face through holding various awareness and training programs. - Our Goals 1. Raise the awareness of Persons with Disabilities and their families towards the rights of Persons with Disabilities and the importance of their role as active members in the community. 2. Raise awareness of the community toward equal opportunities and inclusive participation. 3. Empower Persons with Disabilities to advocate their rights, through workshops, training programs, and supporting the initiatives led by Persons with Disabilities themselves. 4. Enable persons with disabilities to get sustainable work opportunities through work readiness programs and economic empowerment activities. 5. Support Persons with Disabilities specifically those with intellectual disabilities to sustain and maintain work opportunities and related tasks at the workplace through the provision of Job coach service. 6. Create income-generating programs to ensure the financial stability and sustainability of the activities
