The BFA

The BFA is the self-regulatory body for the UK franchise sector. It defines and promotes ethical franchising practice and standards in the UK, which anyone entering the sector - as a franchisee or franchisor - should research carefully.

The BFA is a standards-based organisation: franchisors and professional advisers working in the sector must satisfy an accreditation process to join. Franchisees of member franchisors are encouraged to join the BFA and are represented on its board of directors.
