BioArctic AB (publ) is an innovative Swedish biopharma company focusing on research and develop into neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and ALS. With world-leading science and strong collaborations, we create, develop, and provide innovative treatments for patients with severe brain diseases.
BioArctic has also developed the BrainTransporter™ technology, which has the potential to actively transport antibodies and other biological molecules across the blood-brain barrier to enhance distribution in the brain and drug efficacy.

Collaborations are of great importance to the company and partnering with global pharma companies is a key element of our strategy. Our project portfolio is broad and well-diversified, with the potential to significantly improve the health of patients.

The company was founded in 2003 based on innovative research at Uppsala University.
