Biodesign Pools

A.p.i. Italia SRL was founded in 1980 by Franco Milani. After a period spent in the sectors of professional irrigation, fountains and monumental lakes, Api Italia decided to base its core business in the research and development of an innovative pool concept: Biodesign. In 2021, Star Capital, a private equity fund based in Milan , decided to acquire the majority stakes of A.p.i. Italia group, establishing Biodesign S.p.A. Biodesign, thanks to this acquisition, will enter the global markets with significant investments, empowering its presence in the pool market. The guidance of Biodesign S.p.A. in July 2022, has been entrusted to Mr.Antonio Filippi in the role of CEO.
