About BioSci Toolkit CIC
BioSci Toolkit is on a mission to help students make informed choices regarding bioscience degrees and careers, in particular black and minority ethnic communities. Promoting equitable opportunities and more representation in bioscience.

Historically science has been considered inaccessible and for the elite however we want to change the narrative and the landscape of science one student at a time through this page and in collaboration with other STEM networks.
The aim: to arouse interest and demystify bioscience as an area of knowledge within the black and minority communities, who are grossly underrepresented in that sector both in the teaching staff, student population and workforce.
The objectives:
1. To draw attention to employability opportunities in the bioscience field
2. To mobilise a diverse workforce to fill vacancies in the research sector, academia and industry
3. To initiate interest in bioscience in young people earlier on and spotlight the applicability of biosciences
Our motto: when you know more, you can do more, you can be more.
