About BioThrust
We are BioThrust, a biotech startup based in Germany that brings (sensitive) cell production to industrial scales.
Our bionic bioreactor employs an artificial lung, providing stress-free cultivation conditions to achieve higher cell concentrations and quality. Through our patented membrane stirrer, we provide bubble-free gas exchange for any process. The formation of foam is completely avoided while gas transfer rates are 30x what conventional bioreactors offer. Our membranes allow you to increase your space-time yield by up to 250% without harming cells.
By efficiently scaling the cell cultivation process, we help provide affordable stem cell therapies as well as driving progress in other sectors like cultured meat and synthetic biologics.
