About Birmingham Hospice
Birmingham Hospice is the primary provider of adult hospice care in Birmingham. We deliver expert palliative and end of life care to local people living with a terminal diagnosis - at our hospice sites, in the community and in patients' own homes.
We are committed to improving the quality of life for people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as supporting their families and loved ones.
We believe that anyone with a terminal diagnosis deserves to live well and make the very most of the time that remains. We care for around 670 patients on average every day across our services.
Our mission is, and always will be, to help people from all communities access the care of their choice at the end of life. We are not fully funded by the NHS or government, and we expect it to cost around £19 million to run our services this year; 42% of this must be covered through voluntary income such as fundraising activity, income from our shops and voluntary donations.
