Boston University Howard Thurman Center

The Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground at Boston University was founded by Dean Emeritus George K. Makechnie in 1986 to preserve and share the legacy of Dr. Howard Thurman. Located at 808 Commonwealth Avenue, the center continues Howard Thurman's legacy of pluralism by championing experiences and conversations that create connections, and build community.
