About Brazos Valley Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
The Brazos Valley SBDC (BVSBDC) was established in 1988 with the primary mission of fostering the establishment, growth, and success of businesses. This is achieved through the provision of high-quality business consulting and training services. The overarching aim of the BVSBDC is to empower clients with the essential tools, expert guidance, and knowledge required to make well-informed decisions.
Advisors at BVSBDC are well-equipped to provide support for fundamental business requirements, including the development of business plans, creation of financial projections, and formulation of marketing strategies. The center is equipped with a range of resources and tools that enable comprehensive industry research, access to demographic data, and the capability to generate customized market research reports for clients. Advising sessions may be conducted in person or virtually as the client desires.
In addition to its advisory services, BVSBDC offers access to in-person training workshops that encompass a wide range of topics. These workshops are provided at minimal to no cost to participants. As the SBDC is a Non-Profit Organization, funds obtained from training workshops are used to pay for instructors, venues, or other training supplies.
The BVSBDC extends its support to both startup ventures and existing businesses within Brazos, Burleson, Milam, and Robertson counties. Register for free webinars and sign up for free business advising by visiting our website.
