Breakee

Our mission: to make bus and coach transport safer & save lives through technology.

This is how Breakee, the electronic emergency hammer, was conceived following the Puisseguin tragedy in 2015.
This tragedy claimed 43 victims, 41 of whom were trapped in the burning vehicle.
Breakee was designed by AGUILA Technologies to improve the evacuation of people and smoke from buses and coaches in the event of an incident.

Breakee meets the triple challenge of :

- Quickly free emergency exits thanks to intuitive, effortless operation
- Remote control by the driver
- Be visible in all circumstances and guarantee its presence on board buses.

A Road Safety award-winning innovation.
UTAC-approved, the electronic emergency hammer meets the new requirements of the new 107 series 10 regulation.

Developed in collaboration with New Aquitaine transport operators: KEOLIS Littoral, TRANSDEV Nouvelle-Aquitaine, SISS and XL Département des Landes.
Breakee is an innovation supported by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, the French government (France Relance) and the Ministry of Transport.
