The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute

The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI) is the primary educational organisation providing technical vocational education and training (TVET) in The Bahamas.

BTVI offers certificate and diploma courses, in addition to Associate of Applied Science degrees. Our Main Campus is in New Providence and a Branch Campus is in Grand Bahama. We have Extension Campuses in Abaco (mainland), Eleuthera and Exuma with Instructional Service Centres in Moore's Island, Abaco and North Andros.

Programmess range from Media Technology, Electrical Installation, Information Technology, Construction Technology Management and Electronics Engineering to Fashion Design, Cosmetology and Human Resources Management, among others – some of which include international certifications.

The institution also offers Professional Development Courses (PDCs) and specialised training for organisations, which are a part of its continuing education training. Further, BTVI is a CISCO Academy.
