BuildHerAFuture (BHAF) Africa was created to fight the pervasive impact of gender inequality and economic disparities in the circular economy. This 5-year project implemented in Nigeria, Gambia, Togo and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) provides a strategy for rapid, large-scale and coordinated action towards women empowerment in ensuring knowledge and skills transfer, business sector management, personal development and access to funds & market. Through Technology, Build Her a Future empowers women in Waste management, Renewable energy and Aggrotech precision and Management. BHAF is a collaborative effort by two organizations, rooted in meticulous needs assessments conducted in conjunction with women's groups, poised to address the pressing issues hindering the empowerment and advancement of women in targeted countries. At its core, this program is committed to harnessing the power of data and technology to revolutionize the landscape of women's empowerment.
