Building and Estate Management Society (BEMS)

Established in 1968, the Building and Estate Management Society (BEMS) is an independent student organisation catering to Infrastructure and Project Management (IPM), Project and Facilities Management (PFM), Real Estate (RE) and Business students. We are dedicated to fostering engagement among students, faculty, and industry professionals in the Built Environment (BE) industries. The society aims to serve as a catalyst for transformative change, nurturing a vibrant and lasting culture within the industry with a mission to create valuable opportunities for our students to explore their career paths while promoting a strong sense of community within the BE family.

Our focus is mainly in these two areas:
1. Welfare of the Built Environment students: Fostering a sense of belonging and promoting well-being through social events, giveaways, camps etc.

2. Providing opportunities for experiential learning and networking: Organising site visits, career and networking talks, career podcast series and publishing our very own newsletter that deep dives into industry insights.
