BVS Gewebetechnik

BVS * Bielefeld was founded on February 10, 1993 as a commercial enterprise in Bielefeld. We delivered our textile products in the yard goods sector to ready-to-wear customers who made a piece of clothing from a finished textile / fabric. Industrial customers who, for example, were active in the sector for processing carrier materials, were also among the customers of BVS * in Bielefeld. The development From 1994 to 1997 the demand for high-quality textiles and their purposes rose rapidly. At this point in time, we came to a phase in which to rethink our company philosophy and the expansion of production possibilities. BVS * Bielefeld decided to develop, produce and sell "smart textiles" more intensively. The name was changed to BVS * Gewebetechnik GmbH in 1995. Our company is making history in the area of "joint ventures". On three production levels for the first time, we manufactured technical textile flat fabrics according to our customers' specifications. We specialized very specifically in customer-oriented textile finishing, and our entire range grew to almost 1,100 fabric specifications. In the following years, BVS * Gewebetechnik acquired not only a number of other manufacturing companies, but also suitable employees. This "central unit in Bielefeld" - BVS * Gewebetechnik GmbH - sets the tone for the material our customers demand. With these trend-setting decisions, we now produce over 2,000 different fabric specifications with more than 50 employees on four European production levels within the various production units.
