About Byron Labs
Born from extensive research at the University of Alcalá, Byron Labs is a cybersecurity startup founded in May 2022. Our team, which includes PhDs in Computer Science, doesn't just develop solutions: we back them with rigorous science to transform how cybercrime is fought.
We specialize in Threat Intelligence, converting the vast "noise" of the Dark Web into a strategic advantage for our clients.
Our core platform, Vysion, is the engine of this vision. We use advanced Artificial Intelligence to monitor the Dark Web, cybercrime forums, darkmarkets, Telegram, and Discord. Vysion goes beyond simple detection to provide context and foresight:
- Identifies Sectorial Risk: We analyze and categorize victims by business sector (using the NAICS standard) and location, allowing organizations to immediately assess if their specific industry or country is under active attack. This proactive view helps strengthen defenses and protect millions of users.
- Historical Investigation: Our historical database contains indexed data from more than 150 ransomware groups since 2020. This allows security professionals to investigate "cold cases," preserve evidence from offline sites, and predict an adversary's next move by tracking their evolution over time.
