The OP Agricoltori Ionici CAI was born in 1987 as a cooperative, thanks to the experience of its founders who have already carried out an intense activity in the citrus trade since 1954.
The company was recognized as a producer organization in 2003, the year it joined the UIAPOA. Today CAI adheres to Italia Ortofrutta National Union. In 2008 the company inaugurated the new automated plant for citrus fruit processing in the industrial area of Furci Siculo (ME).
The company has been operating in the organic sector since 2001, with a rigorous professionalism of the members and with particular attention to cultivation and processing techniques, which guarantee high quality products. The product is collected in the shareholders' funds and transported by a fleet of trucks to the Furci plant.
