Canada International Scientific Exchange Program (CISEPO)

CISEPO is dedicated to strengthening health systems worldwide, with a particular focus on limited-resource and conflict-affected settings. Guided by the “Health as a Bridge to Peace” principle, supported by the World Health Organization, we work through collaborative education and partnerships to advance evidence-based approaches and create conditions for more peaceful societies.

We engage in initiatives that democratize medical education and healthcare training, strengthen health workforce capacity, and support health systems to become more resilient, equitable, and locally led. Our work is reinforced by a commitment to accessible training and accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and aligns with internationally recognized priorities, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
