About Canada's Music Incubator (CMI)
Canada’s Music Incubator (CMI) is a national not-for-profit incubator based in Toronto with a mandate to help artists and artist managers evolve from starter companies into sustainable businesses through hands-on networking, mentoring, collaboration and ongoing mentorship.
We deliver eight-week programs in Toronto (Artist Entrepreneur, Artist Manger), a five-week program in Calgary (AE West), regional two-day bootcamps (nationally, in artist and artist manager formats), develop and deliver custom projects for third party clients (JUNO Master Class, CCMA Discovery Program, Music BC) and provide consulting services to artists, managers, industry and government. Additionally, we have recently launched an Live Events department that connects emerging artists with paid performance opportunities.
