Overview

About Canadian Association of Postdoctoral Scholars/ l'Association Canadienne des Postdoctorantes et Postd

CAPS/ACPP is a national, not-for-profit association for postdoctoral scholars from across Canada, as well as Canadian postdocs working abroad.

CAPS/ACPP works to support postdocs in Canada by:
1 - Providing a collective voice for postdocs
2 - Advocating for improved postdoctoral policy and working conditions at the federal, provincial, regional, and institutional levels
3 - Providing information, resources, and services to members

CAPS/ACPP is run by an elected Executive Council comprised of current and former postdocs who volunteer their time to help improve the lives, work, and training of other postdocs. If that's something that interests you please register as a member (http://www.caps-acsp.ca/en/membership/). It's free and there are membership options for everyone (current, and former postdocs; undergraduate and graduate students; administrators; faculty members; and even your parents).

Please note the following:
We do not hire postdocs, though we do help empower them to find jobs.
We do not find positions for individual postdocs, though we do offer resources that are useful for this (e.g., job postings, etc. on our website).
