Careway is an ACC-funded Integrated Care musculoskeletal (ICPMSK) programme that provides New Zealanders with knee, shoulder or spine injuries, with better access to great healthcare services free of charge.

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Vocational Physiotherapist to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in helping people return to work under an innovative musculoskeletal programme which is revolutionising the care that people receive across New Zealand.

About the Role

You’ll deliver high‑quality vocational rehabilitation services, including assessments, return‑to‑work planning, functional capacity evaluations, and workplace assessments. You’ll work closely with clients, employers, ACC, and multidisciplinary teams to support safe and sustainable outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Vocational and functional assessments
Return‑to‑work planning and rehabilitation
Workplace assessments and task analysis
Pain management and functional rehabilitation programmes
Liaising with ACC, employers, and referrers
Clear, timely clinical documentation

What You’ll Bring

Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
Current NZ registration + APC
Experience in vocational rehab (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication and report‑writing skills
A client‑centred, solutions‑focused approach
Full NZ driver's licence
