Overview

About Centers for Family Change

The Centers for Family Change is a group practice of Psychologists, social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, and certified alcohol and drug counselors committed to helping families with a wide range of problems and concerns.

Our founders initially focused their work on childhood, adolescent, and family concerns. As we have grown over the years (4 locations and 20 plus clinicians) we have expanded our services to address a wide range of issues and concerns. While we have grown significantly we remain committed to providing high quality care. Our therapists use evidence based treatment approaches, receive in-service trainings and consultation, and routinely obtain regular feedback from all of their clients which helps us better evaluate the effectiveness of our services.

We have easy to reach locations in: Oakbrook, Naperville, Oak Lawn, and Downtown Chicago. We offer evening and weekend hours, and accept most insurance plans. We offer individual, family, and marital therapy, as well as psychological testing. Many of our therapists have years of experience and extensive post-degree training. We offer insight oriented, psychodynamic, family, marital/couples, play, cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and dialectical behavioral therapies.

We employ Licensed Clinical Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. We offer health insurance (for full time employees), retirement benefits, case consultation, and training opportunities.
