Overview

About Chenla Children's Healthcare

Chenla Children’s Healthcare works in remote eastern Cambodia to strengthen the social contract between the communities and the public healthcare system. As a public-private partnership, we utilize existing government facilities, medication, supplies, and staff to provide international-standard medical care to Cambodian children suffering from infectious disease, febrile illness, premature birth, and more. All services are free for patients and families who are poor. No child is ever turned away. This equitable system is possible because Chenla works as a part of the government system, under the health equity fund scheme, and receives donor support from people like you.

Registered as a 501c3 non-profit in the United States with all donations tax deductible and operating as an International NGO in Cambodia registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Health, CCH seeks to bring together partners throughout the world to bring quality children’s healthcare to where it is needed most. All funding support is spent on the ground in Cambodia providing life saving services thanks to a long term partner covering Chenla's small overhead costs.
