About Cheshire Community Action
Cheshire Community Action helps people and communities to improve the places and spaces that are important to them, and access the services they need.
We support communities throughout Cheshire West, Cheshire East, Halton & Warrington to develop sustainable and vibrant communities where people want to live and work offering support in four key areas:
- Community Buildings
- Community Organisations
- Health & Social Care
- Housing & Planning
Established in 1930, making us one of the oldest voluntary and community organisations in Cheshire, CCA was originally founded to assist rural communities. In recent years we have branched out to provide support in larger towns and their suburbs.
Our key aims are to:
- Facilitate community-led housing and support the delivery of affordable housing;
- Support community buildings & assets and enable community engagement;
- Enable better access to health and social care services in a joined up approach;
- Tackle social isolation.
