About CollegiateX
NCAA and NAIA (governing bodies for U.S. college athletics, a member-led, nonprofit organizations that support over half a million athletes) have recently opened the doors for college athletes to earn from their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). While this change has transformed opportunities for a select few, the market is dominated by less than 1% of athletes — primarily those in top-tier Division I programs.
For the rest—Division I athletes outside the top 1%, along with Division II, Division III, and NAIA—the financial burden of pursuing their sport continues to grow, often dimming the passion and enthusiasm that college athletics can inspire. At CollegiateX, we believe no athlete should need national or global recognition to benefit from the personal brand they’ve built through their sport.
We’re creating a platform that taps into the micro-markets that already exist — in the towns athletes grew up in, and the communities around their colleges — where their local fame can open doors to sponsorships and partnerships. These deals require minimal time commitment from athletes, letting their reputation and community connection do the heavy lifting.
Our mission is simple: empower every athlete to monetize their influence, sustain their athletic journey, and keep the spirit of college sports alive.
