CSIL, Development and Evaluation Unit

The Development and Evaluation Unit of CSIL carries out strategic analysis and evaluation of projects, programmes, and policies, in a socio-economic perspective. CSIL experts are able to provide a full range of research, technical assistance and training services in different EU policy areas (cohesion policy, small business economics, RDI, infrastructure, ICT). They combine advanced technical background with a depth of "real world" experience in stakeholder engagement, planning and programming, ex-ante and ex-post evaluation, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, economic, social and environmental impact assessments. The team has an extensive understanding of the EU institutional framework and decision-making processes and has undertaken many services for the different EU institutions.
