About D-Tails Research
D-TAILS S.R.L. SB
Disruptive Technological Advances in Life Sciences
Società Benefit
D-TAILS is a deep-tech life science company focused on the development of disruptive technologies for early, non-invasive disease detection.
Our research spans neurodegenerative diseases and oncology, with a strong emphasis on biological sensing, advanced imaging, and AI-driven data analysis.
Key activities include:
Development of novel biocompatible markers for the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease, targeting Tau aggregates in the retina.
Development of non-invasive urine-based screening tests for breast, prostate, and pancreatic cancers, leveraging biological olfaction and VOC analysis.
Study of Caenorhabditis elegans as a living biosensor, investigating behavioral and neural responses to cancer-related volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
D-TAILS also develops advanced imaging platforms, including wide-field microscopy, structured illumination, adaptive optics, and integrated microfluidic solutions, designed to enable scalable, high-content biological assays.
