Diversity Counseling, LLC, is a privately funded, forprofit Company providing Outpatient Substance Abuse Services and Mental Health Services to Adults in Cranston, Rhode Island. The Company was founded in October 2021 by its owner, José G. Cruz Rodríguez, Ph.D., LMHC, LPC, LCDCS, who saw a need to address substance use and mental health disorders in Rhode Island. Determined to make a difference, the owner established his own company to treat individuals and families seeking assistance with substance abuse disorders. The Company seeks to expand clinic services in Rhode Island. Diversity Counseling, LLC envisions a community where recovery from addiction is understood, encouraged, embraced, and enjoyed and where all who seek it have access to the support, care, and resources they need to achieve long-term recovery. The mission statement of Diversity Counseling, LLC is to provide a path for wellness and recovery and improve the overall quality of life for individuals struggling with addiction and any related mental health difficulties. To achieve this mission, our professionals utilize a holistic treatment approach that incorporates relevant practices and evidence-based treatment strategies offered in the behavioral health field.
