About Dream Big Space & Science Communications
With over 10 years experience in broadcasting, theatre and communications, Dr. Niamh Shaw merges the Arts with Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Engineer, scientist, artist, performer, citizen astronaut & communicator she provides keynote speeches, communications training, family and theatre content for arts & science festivals and public events. She believes that we are many things at once, and is a proponent of creative multidisciplinary lifelong learning to create happy and progressive civilisations of the future.
Dream Big' is all about Niamh's mission to contribute to human space exploration as artist/communicator. Niamh recently appeared on RTE’s chat show The Late Late Show & The Tommy Tiernan Show to speak about her passion for space as scientist and artist. She has participated in simulated Mars missions at MDRS in the Utah desert in the US and at DMARS at Mitzpe Ramon in the Negev Deset. She also experienced a Zero gravity flight at Star City, Moscow and is currently planning her next mission.
'Dream Big' also promotes STEM careers and women in STEM in public speaking activities, TV, radio, and press including RTE, TV3, Inspirefest, TEDxUCD & World Science Festival.
