About D'Youville Life & Wellness Community
Since our inception in 1960, the D’Youville Life & Wellness Community campus has grown from a small 129-bed nursing home to a large 75-acre campus that serves over 1,500 seniors annually in the Greater Lowell Massachusetts area and surrounding communities. Our modern, state-of-the-art facilities include:
• Long-term Skilled Nursing – D’Youville Senior Care, including our Special Care Unit for
individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia and memory loss
• Assisted Living – both Traditional (including subsidized apartments) and with Memory Care at The Saab Residence
• Short-stay Rehabilitation – D’Youville Senior Care and the D’Youville Center for Advanced Therapy
• Affordable Independent Senior Living (age 62+) – apartments in Bruyere Gardens
At D’Youville, our mission is at the heart of everything we do. Founded in 1960 by the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa and sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, D’Youville Life and Wellness Community continues the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by identifying and responding to the needs of the community with professional and compassionate care in a home like setting. Our Five Core Values remain at the heart of what we do every day: Respect, Human Dignity/Whole Person, Advocacy, Compassion and Care of the Poor.
