e-gnition Hamburg e.V.

e-gnition is made up of over 70 highly motivated students from the Technical University of Hamburg. As part of Formula Student, an electric and autonomous race car has been developed, constructed and tested every year since 2011. At the end of the year, we compete against teams from all over the world in the Electric and Driverless classes.

Formula Student is the largest engineering competition in the world. Around 800 teams with a total of over 40,000 members compete year after year to develop and design the best racing car. The competition promotes the interdisciplinary education of students. The challenges of the business world are also reflected in Formula Student, such as the presentation, marketing and cost analysis of the racing cars.
